HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Hi, I’m Nirja. Like so many of you, my days run from long hours at work to managing a home to late dinners with the people who make it all worthwhile. When I moved back to India after 8 years in the US, I looked everywhere for body and personal care that could keep up.
Everything I tried felt greasy, sticky, cumbersome, or uninspiring. That’s why I created Laani.
Ambition may look different for each of us, whether it is building a career, pursuing a new hobby, training for a marathon, or showing up for family, but we all deserve products that keep pace.

One of beauty’s most overused and under-defined words, “clean” means something different to everyone. At Laani, we don’t use it at all. We choose transparency instead. Every product page will tell you exactly what’s inside, why it’s there, and how it works.
